About the Tofu

Tofu is a soft or firm paneer-like food item prepared by coagulating soy milk. The difference is that for Paneer we use natural milk (Animal milk), however, for Tofu we use plant-based milk which is soy milk. Tofu comes in multiple varieties such as silkensoftfirmextra (or super) firm depending on the process used to make them and your cooking requirements. Tofu is also known as bean curd in English. Tofu originated in China thousands of years ago and is traditionally used across many East Asian and Southeast Asian countries. In modern Western cooking, it is often used as a meat substitute. Thus this is a popular choice amongst people who have vegan dietary needs. Tofu is high in Protein, considering that it is made with soy milk, and has high Iron & calcium content.

Gojuchang is made of spicy red chillies, you can opt for any hot chili sauce such as Sriracha hot chilli.

My tofu or Paneer broke down while stirring in the sauce

When marinating the tofu, pls ensure you wipe the paneer /Tofu on a bloating paper to absorb the excess moisture, once dried you can marinate & fry, that will ensure the tofu is hard & crisp and it wont break in the sauce.
